Tough but muddy Under 6's

As manager I just wanted to highlight the dedication and hard work from the under 6's team and their coaches. They are a great bunch, fun and hard working and we can't wait for September to represent the club.

We were pleasantly surprised that over 20 children (& parents) turned up for training in the ghastly weather. It didn't dampen their spirits and some children seemed to flourish in the mud and rain. Good sign for future matches.

The parents took great delight in cheering each time a team member fell in a muddy puddle, whilst feeling relief that it wasn't their child that was about to get in the car looking like the swamp monster. Small consolation for not having a gazebo to stand under.

Keep up the great work and fingers crossed for better weather.
