Courtesy of the girls No Boot Today !

We fancied a nice warm dry indoor training session today after last week’s mud Fest , and It was good, too good be honest for us parents as we would be more than happy to go there every week.

The kids loved it, Robbo had a another great session planned and it went well as usual also great help from James and sadly to much regret it was Ashley’s last ever session for the foreseeable future until he finishes university, so we wish him well and we will hopefully see him on the Easter tour and on the side lines. I would like to thank Ashley for helping us grow from a small squad of 7 to the team we are today and has been there rain or shine over the past two years.

Parents thought they were getting away with just sitting on the benches keeping quiet, but Robb had other ideas by getting them to partake in some dodge ball themselves … including myself which thankfully I only lasted one run and was caught out by no less than my own son.

But even funnier when Robbo James and Ashley thought they were getting away without doing a few dodge runs , when he had over 30 people throwing balls at them .

Next Week we are due to face Oadby at Home so fingers crossed it will go ahead and we won’t be swimming with the ducks.
