The weather again this week was particularly outrageous, unannounced snow and rain, and close to freezing temperatures all made for the ground to churn up nicely and give the players a mud bath to play rugby in.
Kettering under 8s were back to the banks this Sunday. It was pleasing to see Rushden & Higham arrive at Waverley Road, especially considering the poor weather. Kettering had a vast squad yet again and managed to supply 3 teams with substitutes and rotated these teams against the opposition.
Hot dogs were served and gratefully received by the teams underneath the very welcoming shelter of the canopy in front of the clubhouse.
Next week Kettering U8s are scheduled to play Market Harborough away, snow permitting!!!
