Training - Mothering Sunday special
Due to the unpredictability of the weather Kettering U8s adjusted their intended programme and trained on the all-weather astro turf on Sunday.
Kettering were due to travel to Rushden & Higham but the game was called off, hence, the training session back at ‘Tresham’.
Overall the training went very well, particularly given the circumstances and weather. The players all tried their best to keep moving to stay warm and although it was Mothering Sunday it was really good to involve the Dads in the session.
This coming Sunday we are at home with probable game against Rushden & Higham.
It’s also the final weekend of the 6 Nations, with the following games being played on Saturday 16th March 2013:
• 14:30 Italy v Ireland
• 17:00 Wales v England
• 20:00 France v Scotland
