Under 8s vs Wellingborough at home

Kettering players worked hard on another wet Sunday morning on the Astro Turf. Players arrived keen to play against their opposition; the wet weather did not deter a single one of the match ready team.

The squad was split into three groups; each group taking their turn to play against Wellingborough’s travelling team. In between game-time Kettering trained in Attack, Defence and ABC sessions.

After a morning of hard work, including games, training and bulldog, the Kettering Under 8s team enjoyed a well deserved post match hot dog.

A big thank you goes to all those involved with running the kitchen at the clubhouse. Not an easy task but managed marvellously well throughout the morning and beyond.

In summary it was a fantastic day for player, coaches, parents, ‘kitchen staff’ and supporters.
