It was an exceptionally beautiful morning when we travelled to the picturesque market town of Olney. There was not a single cloud in the sky but it was still relatively mild; such a morning in a few weeks time will be much crisper.
Olney were a very friendly club with a large number of players and to keep us even busier, Men's Own had also sent a team.
We divided into three teams and played matches back-to-back from 10.30 onwards with a short break only to observe the Armistice Day anniversary.
By the end of the morning almost all the players said that they were tired out but they seemed equally satisfied with their morning's work. As is the norm everyone played well and showed a lot of commitment and more matches were won than lost.
Another good show all round!
