Kettering Festival

14 teams were entered into the Under 8s festival.
Kettering were represented in the festival by 3 teams.
Other clubs present were S&L, Wellingborough, 2xNorthampton ONs,2xNorthampton Old Scouts, 2xStamford, 2xTowcester, Northampton Casuals and Market Deeping.

The early morning fog and mist cleared quite quickly, allowing the sun to break through and shine on the day's play. The festival was a great success, the players from the Under 8s enjoyed the day's rugby. Kettering played well over the whole festival and scorelines were close all day.

Kettering played some excellent rugby, both attack and defence was good across all three teams. This was especially pleasing to watch, especially considering that for all players this was only their first or second competitive outing.

The festival was a fantastic way to start the season.
