A sunny morning awaited us after our drive to malden, a beautiful club which was a pleasure to play at. There were remnants of the previous nights activities in the form of neon tutu's & make up, and that was just the boys!
We were greeted by a very keen bunch of players & an even keener bunch of coaches who made Wayne Barnes look like a pussycat as a referee. Again we fielded the two sides, this time bolstered by Ellie who was keen to show her skills.
Malden appeared to field A & B teams which for me reinforced our commitment to having mixed ability in the teams. It was a shame to see the B team concede so many try's & their heads drop at the thought of being flattened by another strong tackle. A couple of stronger players mixed in would have made it a much fairer contest.
All in all we held our own & another successful morning for the players.
Easter eggs were exchanged & burgers devoured.
Back to camp for an easter egg hunt followed by tour court.
I think it is fair to say that tour court was a hit with lots of laughs all around.
A huge thank you to the parents and players for coming on tour. It is a big commitment both in time & money but i hope you will agree it was a great success & worth the effort
Thank you KRFC for the fantastic organisation of the tour.
