Colchester Away

It was a cold start to the Rugby side of our tour. We had a fantastic turnout with 14 players on tour. We fielded two sides which played two Colchester teams. The guys played with great spirit & thoroughly enjoyed the physical side of the game. Ive said it before but we really did see all the players improve noticeably during this mornings games. Game awareness, offloads & spacial awareness all on show here. We definitely had the upper hand on our games & it is fair to say scored more try's than the opposition. The Colchester coaches were keen to have one final game so we mixed everyone up & played a third & final game. Again we gained the upper hand.This is no mean feat as Colchester have 60 players in the under 9's squad. We were congratulated on our tackling, this is not the first time this has been said this season!
A big thank you to Colchester who were really well organised with fantastic pitches. Very friendly coaches & players with a great attitude.
