U9's Stamford and Sleaford v Kettering

After the excitement of last week's very first game of contact rugby at Wellingborough there was still as much enthusiasium for this week's game at Stamford against the home team and Sleaford.

With almost 30 U9's players available , we were able to play a 3 way mini tournament against Stamford and Sleaford. Which meant that everyone got 3 full games.
All the hard work during the first weeks of training has paid off with some fearless tackles being made , however the coaches did try to explain that the contact is not essential and that looking for space , and passing along the line is still the best way to play .

A special mention has to go to both Ellie and Ella , the girls only joined the team this season and are already giving the boys something to think about .......Go girls -:)
