Kettering made their way to the ONs ground with just enough players for three teams, a really good attendance considering we are in the middle of Easter holiday time.
Northampton ONs, also fielding 3 teams were exceptional hosts. Both sides played to the best of their abilities and played in a way that exemplified RFU values and everything good in rugby.
Parents and spectators enjoyed the sport, the weather and the hospitality. After all the games were concluded, ONs invited the two squads to take part in a Tug of War. This involved players, parents (Dads and Mums) and coaches.
The losers of the Coaches Tug of War contest treated all players and spectators to some pretty suspect 'break dancing'/Haka esque nursery rhyme recital.
The season-end is fast approaching with tournaments and tour weekends left to play. Overall this weekend was an entertaining, enjoyable and satisfying last game fixture of the season.
Next week the Mini/Juniors are touring in Exeter.
