Kettering U9s v Olney and Leamington

Kettering U9s were a little down on numbers this Sunday but the squad still managed to make up 3 teams to play against 2 teams from Olney and the touring Leamington who travelled with 1. (Both Kettering and Olney were hit by the previous days Northampton Saints tournament.) The amount of teams available made for a game-packed morning with little time for the boys and girls to get bored!

The Kettering teams played well against their opposition and should be proud of how they played.

Our teams have developed well since the start of the season. There are always areas to continue working on and the squad can continue the progression in forthcoming training sessions.

We should also recognise the good work our kitchen volunteers put in this weekend. Sunday was a particularly busy weekend with a touring side visiting and an outside barbecue being utilised. Well done to those that assisted from not just the U9 age group but also from the U12 and U14s too.

Next week we are training at home, 09:45 for a 10:00 start please.
