Due to the recent spell of bad weather our fixtures secretary organised an away match at South Leicester in place of the planned training session.
Kettering, as per usual, travelled with a good number of players, making up 3 teams. South Leicester, where the weather can only be described as cold and windy had a team available to play against. Whilst each Kettering team played against South Leicester the other Kettering teams used this time to train and play inter-club games. Kettering enjoyed the away fixture and looked game hungry. The windy weather proved an advantage because it encouraged closer passing and therefore closer support play.
Kettering played very well against South Leicester over the 3 ties, leaving the opposition very impressed by the way we played.
Next week we are training at home.
