Kettering U9s v Ampthill

Kettering played host to Ampthill this week who travelled with 3 teams. Kettering were able to create 4 teams.

Lots of brilliant rugby on show throughout the morning against the team who hosted the recent Mobbs qualifier. Kettering were very competitive putting together some excellent passages of play in defence and attack. Overall Kettering looked like the stronger set of players, a fantastic achievement considering how large our squad is and showed a real strength in depth. Tackling and defence in general was good and attacking opportunities were taken well when they were presented. Some new squad members also played for the first time...well done boys.
