Kettering U9s Registration & Training

This Sunday was the first day back after one of the hottest off season's and luckily the sun continued to shine for the squad training session.

It was a busy morning of registration and organising new and returning players, it was also the first coaching session back after the long Summer break.

The club's improvement works were very evident, the club house extension looks superb as does the resizing of the kitchen...which of course will enrich the time we spend volunteering for kitchen duty.

Players, coaches and parents all seemed to enjoy the run out and it was great to see lots of familiar happy faces on the training field.

Training structure was similar to last season, dividing players and coaches into gameplay, attack, defence and finishing with ABCs. Tackling was coached this week for the first time and the players listened and concentrated well.

We all look forward to a positive and fun packed season to come.

Next week we are training again, at our new location at the club (to the rear of the banks).
