ON'S & Daventry Away

A beautiful morning was laid out for us to play away @ ON's. We took two full teams with subs. ON's had three teams & Daventry took one.

KRFC's over all performance was really something to be proud of. The players have had to learn a lot of new skills & laws in a very short space of time. The development of all the players is a continuing process and I think everyone would agree that the players are improving with every weeks training & game play.

The rucks & mauls are difficult skills but the players are rising to the challenge. They are also difficult for the refs so due respect to the officials on all sides.

The rucks are improving & mentions go out to Ben, Alex, Thomas, Max for getting to grips with these. Mauls were impressive with Toku, Shea, Gethin, Fraser all giving a great account.

Tackling always seems to be a strong side to our game with Oran, Toby, Max, Freddie stopping the oppositions attacking lines.

Lots of tries today with Gethin going over in the corner for his first this season. Good to see the new guys Josh & Clark getting into the games and Clark going over the white wash opening his account for the team.

Off loads were really impressive & this keeps the ball alive & game flowing so lets keep that up!

Great communication as we see the players bonding as a team. Keep up the good work & see you on Wednesday for training & at home on Sunday for our festival.
