Welcome back everyone!
Players, coaches, parents and supporters, it’s great to be back. Registration day completed and the first Sunday training session for the U14s.
We may have lost a few of our wider squad but we have also had a few additions. There are still some players away on holiday and playing other sports, but the turn out was good.
The training today was very much tackle heavy leaving us some other key areas to work on as the season progresses. The Fixtures calendar is very busy so I think we will use games as a chance to continue training.
After the coaching session, the Junior kicking competition went ahead. The players taking part were a a bit of a mix bag of abilities, styles and ages!
The O’Leary boys cementing themselves to the bottom of the leader board with a chunk of boys at a level 3rd place. Freddie Stlyes game 2nd and the overall winner was Hal Robinson. Well done everyone.
The club held its newly launched meat raffle and Joker Poker event, decent way to round off a Sunday...balcony, sunshine and a cold one.
See ya next week at Market Harborough.
