The team turned up against one of the best teams in the area and we started with a total of only 17. But all of them gave everything today. We started well and took the game to ONs and competed well but in doing this I think we poked the beast, who woke up, came back strong and we saw how good they were. At the end of the first half we were thirty points down despite playing some good stuff and giving everything.

The second half we started well, scored and converted a try which was well deserved and I thought the plate come backs of all come backs was on. Oh well we can dream. We then let three tries in and most teams would have crumbled but not these lads, after a bit of an inspirational talk from one fiery red headed scrum half they rallied and scored one exceptional try and one, which to be fair I had to apologize to the opposition for that the Ref gave, but according to our lads it was ok!!!

Well done boys for all your effort and attitude though we lost 51-19 we never ever gave up. So proud of all of the lads today. I quote from words heard behind the try line when the score was 40 odd to 7 “We are a team, we don’t argue, does not matter who misses a tackle we miss tackles as a team, we fight as a team, so lets play as a team. Lets go boys”
