Kettering U15s finished the regular season with a fine win away at Daventry U15s.
It certainly was a game of two halves as Kettering took advantage of the wind in the first half to go into the break 26-5 up. A first-half hat trick of tries from Jake Lewington and another from Tim Hale, along with a conversion from Chris Gosling and two from Harry Simmonds, gave Kettering a commanding lead.
However, Daventry had the advantage of the wind in the second half and came back determindly scoring 3 converted tries. Arthur Jones scored a fine solo effort which was just enough to hold off Daventry as they desperately sought a winning try in the last 15 minutes.
