At last, KRFC U16s tasted victory for the first time this season.

In a thoroughly entertaining match of good running rugby and support play, KRFC took an early lead with a well worked team try scored by Matt Clarke, converted by Chris Gosling.

Tries then came from Chris Gosling (2) and Harry Simmonds with 2 conversions from Gosling to make the half-time score 26-0.

Kettering took their foot off the pedal slightly in the second half which allowed Wellingborough to score under the posts but further tries from Matthew Clark, Chris Gosling, Charlie Roberts and Toby Oxford with a conversion by Gosling took the score to 7-48
