A Game of two halves

The first half saw Kettering very much on the back foot, we were asleep and half the team didn't look as if they wanted to be there. However there were some good performances from a few - Josh Beal, Haydn McCann and Ethan Haywood. The score at half time was 38 - 0. After a stern talking to at half time the team suddenly moved into action and decided to play some rugby. We had a solid scrum and Justin Morris and Alfie Ayears put in a great performance. Finally the ball came out to Luke Conyard who gained quite a few yards but unfortunately was unable to go over. The final score was 43 - 0. If we had performed in the first half it could have been a different story. Haydn McCann was consistently impressive throughout the game and was the Higham Flat Roofing Man of the Match.
