This week saw the Colts travel up to Lutterworth for a friendly. Unfortunately the Blues took the word friendly too literally. We allowed Lutterworth to run at us for 20 minutes with missed tackles and a lack lustre performance. Suddenly the Blues then woke up and started to play some good rugby. There were some really good passages of play. The scrum was solid, Ethan Haywood had a great game at scrum half getting a quick ball out to the backs. Samuel Norsworthy and Josh Beal tackled really well. The young Blues were 29 - 7 down at half time. Second half was played with a lot of heart, Haydn McCann and Justin Morris put in maximum effort. We started coming back at Lutterworth, but unfortunately the damage had already been done.
