After the game Kettering Colts were left wondering how they lost a game that they should really have been won within the hour. Kettering dominated the territory and possession for large parts of the game yet Oundle defended with real determination, commitment and passion.
Tries from Josh Plowright, James Aldwinckle and Jack Simms gave Kettering a first half lead and Joe Magill scored a try mid-way through the second half with Harry Brightwell landing two conversions however, it was Oundle who grabbed the points. In the second half they made two visits to the Kettering 22 and came away with 14 points.
