a combined ON's 3rd/4th and Colts side were not given the easiest game of the season by a Blues side made up of predominantly of social players whose commitment won the respect of the home teams players and supporters alike.
ON's supporters were vocal at every tackle and score in the first quarter of this training game but were silenced by some excellent tackling from the visitors. However, the majority of ON's points came from their fast paced and well drilled back line which the Blues found difficult to contain but responded by coming close on a number of occasions to reducing the difference only to be denied by the referees whistle.
Phil Cross, 4th team skipper said, no-one could question our commitment and despite the scoreline some excellent performances were given especially by some of our newer players who can feel confident that going forward, effort such as theirs will no doubt bring the desired results.
