Blues Unlucky at the Last

Having lost only once in 4 years (to Ketterings Re-Development side)the Blues who were without a number of regular players were always going to be the underdogs.

Experience was critical in the scrum which saw S&L dominate however in every other area the Blues were equal to the challenge. The Blues were dogged in defence and could've taken the honours if decisions had gone their way.

Vice Captain Rich McNabb said a fantastic performance against possibly the stiffest opposition we'll face this season. To hold S&L to just one score is something we should be proud of.
