The first half gave no indication of what was to come as the visitors led 16-13 at the break after an error strewn 40 minutes which had the Blues coaches fuming at the lack of application and precision from a lacklustre Kettering side.
During that period Joe Daniel had scored all the Blues points with a try, conversion and 2 penalties, whilst the visitors had taken full advantage of the home sides sloppy play to score 2 tries and 2 penalties of their own.
Having been read the riot act during the break, the Blues players responded magnificently and turned in a scintillating performance which simply blew their opponents away. Daniel led the way with a further 3 tries, 7 conversions and a penalty for a personal 45 point haul!
Further tries from Jamie Manley, Josh Plowright, James Taylor, Steve Fraher and Andy Byrne gave the Blues their biggest win for some time and showed the potential that the side has, if and when the players apply themselves fully.
There were a considerable number of candidates for the RAJ Man of the Match, but Daniels amazing points tally meant that their could only be one winner this week.
