The Blues took the lead through a try by Steve Fraher, taking advantage of a hole in the ON's defence, and with Joe Daniel adding the extra's the home side were looking good. ON's fought back, and scored a converted try and a penalty to take the lead, and the right on half-time, a poor kick chase resulted in ON's running the ball back through the heart of the Blues disorganised ranks and Ashley Nesbitt scored under the posts to make the conversion a formality, and open up an undeserved 10 point lead.
The 2nd half saw both sides squadering chances, with On's being guilty on a number of occasions, and as the game became more fractious, and the referee lost more control, the sides efforts became more and more disjointed. ON's kicked a penalty which was cancelled out by a Daniel penalty, before a fine cross-field kick by the young fly-half, found Yannick Green in space and the winger mad no mistake to score an unconverted try and secure the losing bonus point for the Blues.
