Blues backs rule the day

It was the Blues backs who ran the show against a shellshocked home side, as Josh Plowright opened the scoring with 2 tries in the first quarter, both converted by Joe Daniel.
Man of the Match, Ryan Conyard, was next on the sheet with a 3rd score, again converted by Daniel to give the Blues a 21 point lead after 30 minutes. This was quickly followed by a Chester Hilson, unconverted try, before Jordan Butlin joined in the, backs only, try fest to see the visitors leading 33-0 at the break.
Conyard scored his second of the day, with Daniel adding the extra's as the Blues continued to dominate proceedings, early in the 2nd half. 40-0.
Daniel scored himself to increase the lead, and the backs had, at this point scored all 7 tries. 45-0.
Buzzard struck back with a defiant try of their own, but it was the Blues who had the final say, when Tim Bayes crossed for the Blues 8th try, to bring up the 50 points, and ensure that the forwards contributed to the total on the scoreboard.
