For the second game in succession the Blues started well and Steve Fraher scored from a driven lineout, before Harry Owens extended the lead with a penalty. Buzzard hit back with a penalty of their own, but that was the only time they bothered the scoreboard, as further scores from Josh Plowright, converted by Owens and a second penalty saw the Blues leading 18-3 at the interval.
The home side started well in the second half, but a break out and some fine handling saw Kettering extend their lead with a Tom Connolly try, and despite having to soak up some considerable pressure from the determined home side, the Blues pulled away with further scores from Connolly, Jordan Butlin and Dan Ireland to run out convincing 42-3 winners.
RAJ Man of the match: Josh Plowright.
