Harry Owens opened the scoring early on and the visitors took full advantage of the wind and slope to completely dominate their hosts for most of the first period and much of the second half, as well.
Further tries from Will Bowley, Ryan Conyard and Tom Connolly, all converted by Owens, along with 2 penalties, saw the Blues in a completely commanding 34-0 lead at the break.
Playing up the slope and into the wind slowed the Blues down somewhat in the 2nd half, but they still dominated territory and the scoreboard, with Josh Plowright crossing the whitewash, whilst a penalty try was finally awarded after the home side had somehow escaped this punishment on at least half a dozen separate occasions. Owens added the extra's to both these scores, before a charged down clearance kick saw the hosts score a converted try to give them some compensation for their efforts.
