The Blues opened strongly and pressed from the start, and it was no surprise when they opened the scoring after 5 minutes with a Steve Fraher try. Five minutes later more concerted pressure saw Andy Jones score with Joe Daniel adding the extra's.
Jordan Butlin then benefitted from a Bruce Keir break and offload to score near the posts and Daniels conversion gave the home side a 19 point lead at the break.
The lead was quickly extended with another Butlin score before Daniel scored twice, converting one to seal the win.
Despite Paviors best efforts, the home defence held firm to deny the visitors the satisfaction of at least opening their account, and then the Blues struck again on 60 minutes as Alex Linnell scored under the posts with Daniel again converting.
Then came the piece de la resistance (or something like that) as Danny Noble sold the most outrageous dummy to run in from 25 metres to score the final try, converted again by Daniel, and bring up the 50 points.
