The Blues looked to have overcome some shaky moments as Scouts dominated early proceedings and were unlucky not to lead after the first quarter, as they started to put their running game together, which led to them leading 8-0 at the break, through a Joe Daniel penalty and a well taken Gareth Rees try.
However, Scouts had other ideas and their determination shone through in the 2nd half, and once they scored their first converted try, they never looked back. 2 further converted tries gave them a deserved win and took them into their first ever East Midlands Cup Final.
