Woodland Hospital, part of Ramsay Health Care UK has become the official healthcare sponsor of Kettering Rugby Football Club.

The partnership means that the Kettering Rugby squad will have access to the first-class healthcare facilities to ensure the players are back on the pitch as soon as possible.

Woodland Hospital has been providing private healthcare to the Northamptonshire and Leicestershire community for nearly 30 years. Through working together, Woodland Hospital will be able to engage and inform players, spectators and the rugby community of their areas of expertise and services.

Hospital Director, David Munt says “Woodland Hospital is delighted to be supporting such a long standing reputable and professionally managed sports club such as Kettering Rugby Football Club. This partnership allows the players to have access to our diagnostic services such as our new static state of the art MRI Scanner, ultrasound and X-ray, 11 of our leading Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons and Sports Specialists, and our team of physiotherapists to allow them to return to the pitch – game ready!”

Director of Rugby, Doug Bridgeman says “This is fantastic news for the Club! We have already put our partnership into action last week! One of our 1st team players following a recent knee injury, was able to have a MRI scan and consultation with one of Woodland’s Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon’s the day after his referral! It’s great to have these facilities on our doorstep and it will certainly play a key role in achieving our goals this season.”
