Firstly, let’s say a big thank you to all involved in making this year's Ladies Day at KRFC such a wonderful experience, and of course a big thank you to all those who attended as guests.
These 'special' days require a great deal of planning, and it's so rewarding when we receive the feedback we have so far on this one.
Next year’s event is already in motion, and we may surprise you in the New Year, so watch this space!
Jumping back from the break week, the Blues hit the road to Old Scouts for a First XV clash and a 2:15 KO. With the recent weather, we have sent the lads on some additional swimming lessons as well as scrummaging practice. It’s a short trip over to Old Scouts, so we hope there are a few of you who can make the game and show some support.
Our 2’s and 3’s should also be facing Old Scouts, home and away respectively, but please watch the website as they have many injuries, plus the Saints are at home so opposition may change, while the Colts have a friendly at home to Ampthill (kick off 2pm).
Sunday is also a busy day with 3 junior games at home.
- See the club website for full details
We also have plenty of training action ongoing with Walking Rugby, Women’s Senior Rugby and general training continuing in their usual slots, but with this time of year, please check with managers for details where required.
On the sponsors front, we are always pleased to hear great things about them and the club was happy to have one of them mentioned in a TV interview this week. Jamie Vardy of Leicester City’s Premiership football team waxed lyrical about how wonderful it is to visit The Raj – Kettering’s premier Indian restaurant and club friend as well as long-time 1st XV Man Of The Match sponsor. We are sure that Goyas and the boys will be loving it despite being die-hard Liverpool fans!
In The Clubhouse we have plenty coming up with The Sunday Quiz every Sunday evening, starting at 7pm.
Don’t forget we have the upcoming:
Pre-Match Lunch – Hackett and Jones Era Celebration – December 7th - KRFC v Daventry RFC. Bookings now being taken – please message Clare or contact on the website as usual.
Also bookings are now being taken for the Club's Xmas Lunch on 21st December when we host Wellingborough RFC
Regards,
The Clubhouse Team
